I always wondered what it would be like for MS and Nintendo to merge or collaborate. Given Nintendo's long history in gaming and Microsoft's relatively youthful chutzpah. A joint game venture would be just the right thing to combat the Sony Playstation behemoth.

And especially after the Gamecube and Wii, Wii-U, I think Nintendo should definitely reconsider Microsoft's proposal. A combined Microsoft and Nintendo would also encompass distinctly Eastern and Western game tastes and franchises.

You know there is a sweet sort of irony in the fact that Nintendo basically created there two biggest rivals. First they where supposed to be partnering with Sony on a system but the deal fell though and the Playstation was born, and then they where in talks to partner with Microsoft, which they ended turning down, and in turn lead to the birth of Xbox.
