In my opinion, God of War is gory as hell, and well,, all Capcom games, like DEAD RASING,, Resident Evil, and i play Timeshift with Total Gore,, and i have to say is assome,, Gears of WAR IS GORE too,,, in the last two games, you can see the blood ¡n the monitor when you kill a guy close of you...

OMG, someone other then me knows about PHANTASMAGORIA on this forum!!!!! THAT is quite a gory game, and VERY disturbing sometimes. It's still on my top 10 gorriest games list (the one I created in my mind, and have yet to put in a blog.)

I'm surprised no one mentioned RE4, that game is VERY gory. Don't say 'no it's not, hardly any gore' unless you have seen ALL the way's that Leon can die!

Dead Rising is one of the gorriest only because of one weapon....the shower head!!! Man that was hillarious. (yes I know there are gorrier things in the game though, but my fav. is the shower head.)

I haven't seen much NG2, but, it doesn't look like anything special from what I've seen, anyone want to link me to some kind of insane death sequence like something RE4/GeOW/Mortal Kombat would have? or is it just severed limbs, blood all over the floor and walls, and spraying jugulars? That doesn't seem like "GORRIEST" game to me...

Since barely have played it, I'd have to say the newly released "Conan" deserves it's spot up in the ranks in terms of gore. There are literally moves dedicated to be gruesome in the most awesome of ways and in close-up, slow-mo action.soulsofblayck

Yeah, Conan is really brutal. From the videos it also looks dumb enough to make Fighting Force look like Shakespeare.

Haha, it's pretty dumb but honestly, it's a fun/mindless game. I'm a gorehound so I thought it was fun but deserved of the 7.5 it got. I have to say, it is of the worst copies of God of War I've ever seen in my life. One feature of games which should die are QTEs. If you ever play this game, at the final boss, you'll know why I wish they would burn.

You mean those weird and annoying Simon Says minigames, right? I tend to dislike them too, expecially during cutscenes (RE4). They make me feel like one of those lab monkeys and take the fun out of everything.
