Ghost of Tsushima hype

Really looking forward to this one! :)

There hasn't been a console game where you play as a samurai out in awhile...not since the Afro games. And I'm excluding Way of the Samurai 4 because that includes custom characters you can name, make swords for etc.

Gonna wait it out when it releases so that it gets cheaper. Who's excited?

I'll probably get it on day one. It is the Assassin Creed in Japan that Ubisoft never made.

Probably PS5 though.

I never had an interest in this kind of stuff or most anything of asian culture for some reason though some of the huge anime people I know are hyped for this game.

it looks stunning. the premise sounds right up my street. i just hope the stealth mechanics are less assassin's creed and more dishonored, or at least aragami, in style (i.e. competent)

Yeah, I forgot about Nioh...well, that's another way of saying I got it confused with For Honor XD. But that one looks good too, gonna be one of the first two titles I buy for PS4.

With Onimusha HD, Sekrio, Nioh 2 and Ghosts of Tsushima, I'm just glad that these games are around rather than being absent.

Definitely hope Tsushima can pull it off. I think I'm more hyped for it than any other PS4 game, including anything shown since HZD.

@saltslasher: Yeah it looks amazing. Gonna discipline my inner samurai with shakuhachi (flute) music the day it comes out. :)

Thought the demo looked brilliant. But OW is a tricky genre, because it's so hard to fill with decent content. Hopefully they go for a minimalistic style and try to make the core experience really appealing. The aesthetics (that duel looked so cool) are wonderful and sort of fit that style. Really looking forward to it!

Man, my weeb sense is tingling. This could be the PS4 game which finally convinces me to join the dark side.
