I recently purchased the holiday bundle package at Gamestop. It came with a lot of random stuff, but the one item that confused me was the game Forza Motorsport 4: Essentials Edition. What is the difference between the normal version of the game and the Essentials Edition? Some people say that you get less cars then the normal version, but I don't really care about less cars. I'm not a huge racing fan. I am a FPS type of guy, so I don't care about it that much. But I DO care about tracks. Does it have the same amount of tracks/levels? Or is it like a demo version? I'm really confused about this, so detailed, quick answers are appreciated. Thank you very much. -Ronnie
Also, do you think it is NECESSARY to get the normal edition? As I mentioned before, I just want to play it for fun. I am not a huge fan of racing games, and I don't even have the urge to play online.
From my understanding, it is missing a ton of tracks and cars. You're probably better off getting the 2-disc, regular version. Especially if you're not an avid racing fan.
essentials edition is one disk of the two disk normal version. You can buy and download the two packs from xbox addons for forza. (pre-2000 and post-2000 car packs) to upgrade it to the normal version.
