First Max Payne movie trailer. It looks awsome.

Check out the new Max Payne movie trailer, starring Mark Walberg & its directed by the guy who made Behind the Enemy Lines.

Looks cool, but the movie has demons and other unnatural elements, not sure how that would work.

Atmosphere looks spot on, the supernatural element could be attributed to a drug or sthg. Still a bit daft.

I thought the trailer was awesome, can't wait to see it.
I do hate how people get mad when they change plot elments, add or change characters. Like if the movie was exactly like the game, those who would play would know exactly how it would pan out. I am glad they are mixing things up a bit. So heres to the best!

yep most movies r crap. i kind of think that the movie will be crap. resident evil was ok, then 2 came out meh, the 3 was like this never happened in any of the games.

RUINED!! just ruined! Max Payne is not freaking Constantine!!! Why are they adding supernatural elements to this IP? Is is maybe just a metaphor, or is it drug induced? I don't care, I don't want it.SciFiCat

Funny you should mention Constantine, as that's exactly what came to mind when I watched the trailer. I personally liked Constantine but that film was based on Hellblazer, which is a supernatural-themed comic book. The supernatural aspects shown in the Max Payne trailer don't fit with the established universe of the character.

That said, I think Max Payne, thematically speaking, is really nothing more substantial than a lite-version of Garth Ennis' Punisher. He's certainly not a character I care to see explored in a different medium.

And I still think Silent Hill is a masterpiece and is not only the best film based on a videogame but one of the best horror films of the last decade.
