Ever lost an old video game?...

I take good care of my games and I believe this may be my first experience with actually physically losing a game... I woke up today, went through my pile of PS1 games looking fora gameand... it was no longer there. I have searched everywhere and I just can't find it... sure it's cheap now but that's not the point, I shouldn't have to re-buy it in the first place lol. I don't see where it could have gone... I want to play this game pretty bad now. I would have never noticed before that it wasn't there, even though I look through my pile of games a lot, but now because I was specifically looking for it it annoyed me as I have looked everywhere for it.

So this brings the question - has anybody here ever lost a good, old video game?

nope. i always lock my room door before i leave the house so i brother cant go snooping around and i keep all my games neatly on my shelf. what game was it BTW?LP4EVA2005

I lost Rise of Nations for a PC. It was very frustrating because it was proably my 2nd favorite RTS ever. So I just bought another.

Yes. I have lost my copy of Link's Awekening and I want to play it now really bad. Also, when I moved out of the house a few years ago I left my snes at my parent's with plans to go back and get it. I lived far away at the time so by the time I came back my mom had given it away along with very rare copies of games like Secret of Mana and Lufia and the Fortress of Doom.

My sister lost Mario Tennis for the GBC. I was upset.

my brother took some of my n64 games :x.. and never got them back:cry:

Yup, I lost Super Smash Bros. for N64 recenty, still haven't found it. :(

I've "lost" my copy of System Shock 2 three times.

The last time I lost it was a good few years ago now, and I still haven't found it. I don't think it's coming back this time :(

I lent Silent Hill to a friend many years ago and forgot about it. He probably still has it, but I don't have his number or address anymore since I moved abroad.

I also lost a rare D&D game called Dragons of flame for the C64.

Yeah, I recently fired up my 3DO and wanted to play Star Control II. I lost hours on that game, it's soooo good. Anyway, I'm found all my old 3DO games but not that one. Looked through all my boxes of games, records, old clothes, etc. and it's nowhere to be found. A very sad day (especially as I doubt I can buy it again).

... also if I do buy it I'll probably be dissapointed as it won't be as awesome as I remember :)

I lent my cousin Star Ocean : The second story when I was little and never go it back... just remembered 10+ years later :(. Gonna have to ask him about it :P.

A few months ago, me and my friends wanted to play some Wrestlemania 2000 which we hadn't played in years. When I went to look for it with all my other N64 games, it was gone.

My dad threw away my Atari 2600 and all it's games. I had Atlantis, Frostbite, Pacman (crappy as that version was, it's still Pacman), and of course, all the classics like Combat and Air to Sea battle. :( It's ancient, but there's something special about that system...

Years ago I lost Star wars: Rogue Squadron for my N64, I was pissed. Never found it...yentlequible

One time I loaned my copy of Mega Man Star Force: Leo (a DS game) to one of my friends and he lost it. Feeling guilty about it, he bought me another copy of the game as a birthday gift...then he found the lost cartridge a few weeks later. Now I have 2 copies of that same game. :P

Yeah, I have had a few games turn up missing, I suspect that my dad threw them away by mistake back in the day. You ever notice though that it isn't until you realize that the game is missing that you really want to play it?

sm bros 2-found but dont work ,

and lord of the rings which i have replaced

and i lost 1 ps2 game-aqua aqua stupid game any way , and disaster report as well-replaced

lost 2 xbox games in florida but i replaced them and then guess what i found them

and the ds game is goldeneye rogue agent i lost here where i live so it is either down one of the vents of the ac unit or garbaged

but never lost any good games that i didnt have multiple copies of ne way so ya i dont hardly care for those ones that are missing cause i got them else where

id say the only ones id need to find is games i sold , already 98 percent there just need about6 games for snes

6 super mario is missing , , that would complete what i had ,, and then i havee 100 more so ya im set

also i have several nes games i had that i dont even remember the names of , so that gonna be hard the only 2 i remember are micromachines and ducktales

besides ones i already rebought such as smb 1 -3 duckhunt zelda1/2 topgun 1/2 tetris etc i got most of the populatedd ones , just the hard to find ones are a pain to find

had it it broke should have mention this as well i am replacing my whole ps1 collect since half the games is scratched from bein in a binder so long

My little brother lost Golden Sun and Metroid Fusion. I don't think he ever found it either.
