I recently got this. I've been playing it for a while. I'm in love.

Okay, the sanity effects don't really scare me, but they do make me think "WTF is going on?". But there was 1 scene so far that made my heart beat.

I'm not very far, Chapter 4.

It's already one of the best games i've played. Did you guys love it as well?

I criticised it a lot but all in all i have to say I liked it. It's a little clunky in the combat system and its action is a bit repetitive, but it's a solid game with some great ideas and an interesting plot (though the characters are too many and most of them are just 'touch and go').

I will say the most frightening scene in the game is every time you retrieve the tome from the pedestal, but there are more I won't say yet (I don't want to risk spoiling anything for you).

[spoiler] I found the scariest scene yet was when i went into the bathroom.. wasn't expecting that! [/spoiler] I think a sequel would fix those problems you mentioned, though.

About what you say in your spoiler: yup, that startled me, though it was pretty clichè... I can't count all the games with a scene like that.

Don't bother trying to sell it at EB. Ebay might be an okay place, depening upon how often it can be found there. You could start the bid a little less than EB's asking price so that it would be about equal with shipping added. That might be able to draw more interest. I don't know for sure, though.
