This discussion of ratings always comes up because me and my cousins are always making sure we introduce our youngest cousin to games at the right age, not GTA when you're 7 and NInja Gaiden by the time you're ten years old ya know?
When I first found out Destiny was rated T, it took me by surprise. Few FPS games have been rated T over the years as the FPS genre is known for over the top violence. In most cases like Goldeneye, or Timesplitters, they DO have less violence than others in the genre either through less blood or the complete omission of blood altogether, and death is depicted as less gruesome I should note.
Destiny doesn't have red blood, but the blood it does have is present. Metroid Prime 3 has blood but I'm pretty sure its less than Destiny.
Which game is more violent overall? And do you think they both deserve the same rating of T?
