Dark Souls 2 experts.. glitch or am I missing something?

Completed DS2 on Xbox years ago but purchased again for PS4 because I love it and I get all the DLC content.

However, I've just defeated the Dragonrider and I can't enter No Man's Wharf. I've spoken to Licia until she disappears but the entrance over the bridge is clouded over and it says "Cannot pass".

Is this a glitch or have I forgotten to do something?

Huh. No idea, maybe it's something specific to the new version? Not available till Tuesday in the states, so I guess I'll find out then.

Not sure. Were you being invaded at the same time? That causes fog wall. Besides that, I don't know. Maybe it's different now.

I managed to work this out. It was a glitch/bug - For anyone else having this problem, just stand right in front of the fog wall and wait. After a few seconds, the wall will disappear and you'll be able to continue.

Yeah, you are locked to an area while being invaded. If the connection fails, then you are unlocked without anyone ever coming in. Not a bug, per se.
