Assassin's Creed is a cool name, but so is Lost Odyssey. Chrono Trigger is cool too. I would go for either Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, or Chrono Trigger.
Skies of Arcadia. Dead Space. Escape Velocity. "Resonance of Fate" is too corny. The Japanese title "End of Eternity" is much better. Star Craft. It sounds like you are actually making stars.
assassins creed sounded so cool, its the only reason i rented the game, i didnt know anything about it.... then i found out the problem in the game... :P
The World Ends With You is the coolest one I can think of. Then also Final Fantasy but as someone already mentioned before it looses it's epickness with a number in front of it. And finally The Legend of Zelda because it makes you feel like your playing something bigger than you.

Devil May Cry is so cool, it sounds like it's been snipped from a piece of literature. Metal Gear Solid is a cool name, so simplistic, yet I bet even if it had have been crap, the name would've been remembered. Also Solid Snake has got to be the coolest name ever.
Honestly i think that Assasins Creed just has a really cool feel to it, the game was pretty good, but the name is really awesome if you just think about it :D
