COD Ghosts worth it for the multiplayer?

I haven't played a COD game since MW3 which I have since gotten bored of after 2 years and I would like another game with fun multiplayer to play because at the moment I am only really playing Halo 4 and GTA V online at the moment and I don't feel I am getting the best out of my gold subscription. I have heard mixed things about Ghosts but I have seen it being sold pretty cheaply in some online stores and I am wondering is the multiplayer worth it?

Cod ghost is actually worth it for the single player more than the multiplayer.

Have you considered battlefield 4 for multiplayer?

I was in the same boat as you having not played cod mp since mw3. I started playing black ops 2 this year and its amazingly fun after having not playing cod in forever. I also then went and tried ghosts mp and it is terrible in comparison to black ops 2. Black ops 2 still has 140k online at peak times (had 146k last night) so you don't have to worry about finding players as that's as much as ghosts right now lol.

No, worst multiplayer in a while, or out of any of the other recent titles at least. Extinction is fun though, and so is the SP.

Black Ops 2 is by far superior, especially if you have all the zombies maps.

No, it is not. Its not at all enjoyable. Instant death when it comes to online. Die really easily, the maps are WAY too big, hard to spot enemies. The weapons, eh.

Thanks for the advice people. I hadn't considered Battlefield 4 (I have seen it for £23.99 which is cheaper than COD Ghosts), is the story of the single player connected to Battlefield 3 in any way?
