Can't remember this game.. It's a tricky one...

Hello,

I can't remember this game i used to play, vaguely throughout the story i remember collecting orbs of some kind. Old game from the 90s at least, had a final fantasy vibe to it. One cutscene in particular i remember was you accidentally walk in on some female in the shower while you're on some sort of ship. The cutscene is shot and plays out like an anime, but the gameplay is different. Any help?

Also,

In the cutscene she's being covered by the steam in the shower i think.. and your "sidekick" that follows you around can fly during said cutscene.
