No game wins really:
1. Battlefield has some amazing graphics and effects (like weather effects), it has the best physics and destroyable terrain. But WWII's graphics are really good too
2. Battlefield 1 by far has the better multiplayer, thanks to its class based system and great maps that work well in Operations and Frontlines game modes. COD WWII is a fun, but lighthearted twitch shooter. War mode is a must play if you play COD online.
3. COD WWII's campaign is longer and better
4. There is actually more story to be found in Battlefield 1's multiplayer (codexes, operations) than its singleplayer.
@R4gn4r0k:
The way i see it is that Battlefield 1 wins, cause we ALL know that Battlefield games have good graphics, good physics and more realistic environment than COD games. Also we ALL saw the CODWWII trailer and we realized how fucked up the whole result was when we saw that the game was lower in graphics than the trailer we saw in the first place. In a nutshell Activision lied to us and mock us in front of our faces on the release date. This is not how you keep your customers near you, but no..."We love COD games and we still gonna buy them, even if they lie to us" WRONG.
@drlostrib:
Cause i wanna be really 100% convinced before i'm gonna buy any game.
So you are going to let complete strangers who do not know you convince you of which game suits your taste more?
In that case, Ditch them both and get "Sid Meier's SimGolf"
It's not even close, BF1 by miles. When I started playing it with my friends and brother we all said the samething after the first few matches, this is what COD would feel like if it every actually evolved or get a new generation engine and not the old ass quake 2 one it's used forever
Just Purchased COD WWII on sale, boy do i wish i could get my money back... lol :-)
Last COD i games i enjoyed was COD 3 and MWF.
After playing BF1 for some time (still do a lot) i though id give COD WWII a try since it's been a couple of years and they might have changed up some stuff, no it's still the same, very arcade and almost cartoonish.
BF1 simply outshines it in every way, when you play BF1 you feel immersed in the game, the sound, the graphics, the game physics and the music all work seamless together.
COD really lacks in sound and game physics, the graphics are okay but again more cartoonish in style.
The lack of settings (im playing on Xbox) is very disappointing, in BF1 I can change just about everything, FOV, advanced control settings etc.
I rarely play SP games, but COD WWII might have a nice SP story, but after playing 10 minutes I got tired of the stuttering every time I got to a checkpoint or whatever.
Considering I play on an Xbox one X with a fire Cuda drive that should not happen, not sure what's causing it but it annoyed me enough to quite the SP.
The Xbox one X enhancement does not look that impressive either, not when I compare it to Battlefront II.
Lesson learned, i should stick with DICE and simply should have just pre-ordered BF V instead. :-)
