Best (and Worst) Call of Duty Games?

Call of Duty is a great game series, with excellent controls, epic narratives, and are the gold standard of competitive multiplayer. Of course, some of the games are better and worse than the others; which are the best, and worst, of the series?

Here is an opinion piece I wrote about the series, Call of Duty: A Tumor on the Face of Gaming.

Best: MW2 and Black Ops

Worst: All after that.

All nine or how many of them are, are worst/bad. CoD 2 was some way acceptable (gave it 5.5/10).

Basically a series that should be flushed down the drain to disappear from ever surfacing again.

Call of duty 4 modern warfare

CoD 4 and WaW. CoD just went downhill after those.

Call of Duty 2 by far for me was and still is the best. The only cod game I have left installed on my pc.

CoD 4 is the best CoD game ever made. CoD 2 is second best. The worst is obviously CoD 3. 

United Offensive and 4 were the best.

Call Of Duty 2, Black Ops 1 & COD 4 MW were great. The worst game of the series goes to World At War.

MW2 and Black Ops had alright multiplayer, but I don't really care for these games in anything more than passing.

Best: Modern Warfare 3

Worst: Black Ops 2

black ops, black ops 2 and modern warfare 3 are the best games . modern warfare 2 was the worst

Apparently very few people remember the abomination that was Finest Hour.

Old thread but My fav call of duty was 2(especially online) and 3. After that it went downhill for me.

Worst single-player campaing: Black Ops 2

Best multi-player: Modern Warfare 2
