I have an SP but I'd take a Micro over it.

I'd prefer the added portability and enhanced screen.

I have an SP and it's pretty sweet. I dont see why anyone with an sp would want a micro. its not really much smaller, it doesnt fold (which allows you to keep the screen nearly perfect), and it doesnt play old Gameboy games. oh and since they dont sell the micro in stores, it will cost you MORE to get one. Anyone out there have both and prefer the micro?

The Micro is a nicer looking, more socially acceptable device. The smaller screen makes games look a bit sharper, but the trade-off in size makes things about even, I guess. It's up to you, but for just straight functionality, you're prebably best off getting the SP (ther newer, brighter version).

I like my GBA SP 2. It was better than GBA SP. I do not play Micro yet. I just saw it at video game store. Its screen was smaller than GBA SP. I may purchase it someday.

I've gone through 3 SPs and much prefer my micro. Portability, better backlight, sharper image, but most of all, it never gets scratched. the brushed aluminum case (or whatever the alloy is) littlery is unscratched after like 2 years of owning it. the faceplate isnt even scratched. all of my micros looked totally crappy after a few months mainly because the paint wears RIGHT off. they just look ugly after. the micro still looks sharp as ever.

hahahaha. I meant the SP paint wears off and it looks bad. The micro doesn't have a scratch on it. i totally thought i edited that lastnight because i remember actually typing that.

SP < MICRO

portability, sharper image, durability

ALSO:
"littlery is unscratched after like 2 years of owning it." LITERALLY*

I am not 12 years old, I promise. Haha

I have big hands, and the micro is still comfortable.

I bought myself a 20th anniversary famicom micro, and I've got to say it is the sexiest handheld I own :) What a great color scheme.

Micro all the way. The screen is better, the size is more comfortable, etc.

The micro sucks.... the screen is smaller than others.... I own both (even though I lost the micro) and I LOVE my SP.

I would get the micro if I was going to bring it with me everywhere 24/7 since it's so small and super light.

since i don't have a micro i'ma go with sp... but since i have a ds lite... i'ma go with that... even though it doesn't play old gb games, my gamecube does... my sp does too, but those games don't get much of a workout anymore. not from me anyway. i didn't know the micro had a light???
