I have, I've purchased Beetlejuice and Platoon for NES since both of them were just a buck on Amazon. I figured what harm could it do? For laughs, I made my brother play them both telling him they were hands down one of the best games ever made.

Most of those games you can find for $1 or cheaper. It's not a huge loss. No, because I know I wouldn't be laughing after spending money on those stupid crappy games...

I own over half of the entire US NES collection. I would be lying if I said that some of them were good games.... I guess there is a cost when you are a collector though... lol! Anyways though, I have NEVER played a game that I didn't get some sort of enjoyment out of, for however long the length may be. Remember that even a HORRIBLE game brought you a good time if you laughed for whatever the reason ;)
I don't know about "for laughs," but I have purchased a number ofNES games that I knew weren't especially good, but I had fond memories of anyway (Kung Fu, TMNT and Spyhunter, to name a few)
silver sufer on the nes. its not realy a bad game it is just legendary in difficulty. played it 2 hours straight with 3 of my friends and only passed 1 out of the 5 levels. if anyone played it or saw the avgn video they know what im talking about :P
