9 Day NO SLEEP CHALLENGE

Hello, Gamespot community! I am ThievesDenn. Yes, it is true. I will be participating in a "9day NO SLEEP CHALLENGE" on my LIVE STREAM. The challenge will begin on Fc5 release date (or around that week). All I will be playing is FarCry 5s competitve multiplayer. Now I will try to answer some predictable questions that are headed my way.

1Q: Are you an idiot?

A: Yes, I am. For now...

2Q:Why would you willing go without sleep?

A:To get our name out there in such a broadly used platform. Twitch viewers want to see a new game starting, DAY 1 of its release. If I were to play 14 hours each day the popularity result would not be the same.

3Q: Why 9 days? Why not more or less?

A:The Guiness World Record for longest live stream is 150 Hours (6Days). We will break that record. Rumors say after 11 Days no sleep you possibly die.

4Q: What are your goals?

A: FARCRY 5 GOALS: For us to be #1 in all leaderboards and to be the first to reach the highest rank in FC5s competitve multiplaye. (if there are leaderboards/ranks in FC5)

LIVE STREAM (Twitch) GOALS: To have a classroom amount of viewers watching me LIVE (20-30viewers). To get our nameout there in the FarCry and Twitch communitys. And to earn $90 by the end of 9 days.

REAL LIFE GOALS: To eventually be big enough on Twitch so I can take care of my Mother and little sister. Becuase my Dad was an a**hole to all of us. He choose to take my mothers life savings and go abroad with the money tp cheat on her while they were still very much married. She was left with no money. Truth is Im eating only lunch and dinner and nothing else- No breakfast and no snacks Ive been like this for months. There is barely enough for 1st months internet to LIVE STREAM. I dont have internet right now, but I will to LIVE STREAM Far Cry 5. Im at an internet cafe right now using my Lunch and Dinner moneyso you casn know about me. I skipped out on meals so you can be reading this right now, The $90 goal for 9days, is so I can pay for 1st months internet and 2nd months internet.My Xbox One was an investment made by my bestfriend who has a girlfriend and a baby.

Without sleep your body will shut down on it's own whether you like it or not. Massive amounts of caffeine can screw your heart and kidneys up. After a certain point you you'll hit delirium and you won't be able to play. I stayed awake for 7 days and the hallucinations made it impossible to function or even do simple tasks.

First up, there are 24 hours in a day - not 14. How are you going to PROVE that you're not sleeping?

Secondly, if you really are planning on going without sleep for 9 days then don't do it!!!!! That's frigging crazy.

Mate, take it from someone who suffers from insomnia on a regular basis, don't do it. Sleep deprivation is agony.

Why would you want to do something like that?

I mean, first off, sleep is amazing. Second, Far Cry is not going anywhere. It will be there on the 27th. It will be there in two weeks. It will be there in two years. Hell [if you're on PC] it will be there in two decades.

And, most importantly, why would you risk your health and possibly your life over this? Please don't do it.

I can hardly play 4 hours without a break (aside from toilet break). Good luck for you not dying for playing 216 hours without a break...

All the fame you are going to get is "Wow, this guy is insane.... ", and even then they are going to forget it. Do you remeber the people that won for Guinnes Record? Well, I don't.

Yeah... people did the tide pod challenge for fame and that was a terrible idea also.

Seriously TC, attempting to stay awake for 9 days is crazy. Don't put your health at risk for entertainment purposes, there's safer ways to make money.

Heck I'd be happy to donate a dollar/peso/pound or two for you not to feel like you have to do this. ?

Thanks for the advice. But, it seems my decision is final. I know I need to stand up, after every game and move a bit. I don´t want a bloodclot in my a**.

Let me know when you start steaming your visit to the ER or funeral. That’s way more interesting.

Longest I was up was for 52 hours straight and that was to complete a massive school project. I was at the campus for over 2 days straight. I attended my regular classes during those 2 days and worked on the project through the evenings and nights. I was so exhausted that when I got home, I fell asleep the moment I hit the mattress. Never again.

How did our kids get so dumb?

I'd be interested to watch if you start seizing and such. Make sure to edit out anything like that if it happens, and then update and let us know so I can watch. I can only spare you 5 minutes of my time though, so edit that shit and make it good.

The brain starts to shut down around 50 hours.

My money is on you falling asleep mid-stream around hour 60.

9 days? Yeah right, gimme a break.

The good news is that you are not likely to die, you will just pass out at some point, which will make for a boring live stream.

May I ask how old you are?

The inventor of mypillow actually came up with the idea when he was on a cocaine and crystal meth bender where he had gone weeks without sleep. Maybe the OP will come up with a cool new idea in his state of delirium.
