Sonic the Hedgehog Gamestop sale warning

I walked into Gamestop and saw that they are having a sale on various games. Sonic the Hedgehog or GBA is one of the games on sale. DO NOT BUY IT!! I dont care how much of a Sonic fan you are, this game is practically unplayable. It could not have been play tested. I'm so mad at myself for not reading the review here first.

First off, I couldn't do the Up, down, left, right world select trick. That bummed me out right off the bat. The the music sounds like a fan emulated Midi file. In other words horrible. Then the gameplay.........woooooo..*sighs* the frame rate is so jerky and mixed up it's crazy. one minute you're going like normal. The next, it's like a invisible wall is blocking you. Then right when you're infront of a lava pit or spike bed, Poof!! He speeds up and you go diving in head first.

Just wanted to warn some you Sonic fans before you go shopping.

I didn't buy the Genesis/Megadrive version of Sonic the Hedgehog on the GBA because I already had it for the Gamecube as part of a collection and secondly it never came out in the UK.

I later heard that the game wasn't so great because of the patchy frame rate, sound issues....

Any of the Sonic Advance games however on the GBA are decent and are a much better buy.

Sonic has many games on GBA, you need to specify which game you're talking about.IMAHAPYHIPPO

The title says, "Sonic the Hedgehog". As in Sonic 1 (Genesis original). It has messed up controlls, F'd up frame rate, poor sound, blah blah that was mentioned.
