How often do you die in FFXIII?

    I seem to die all the time.. I am guessing I have kicked the bucket at least 100 times already!! Do I suck???

I use to die a lot in the beginning until I learned how to use paradigm shift a lot better. Now I pretty much never die.

**POSSIBLE SPOILER**

I'm going to say ever since I reached Gran Pulse! those huge elephant looking enemies I'll take on one just for fun knowing in one hit I'll lose ALL my HP. I've underestimated alot of enemies in this area and found that I'm not as powerful as I should be so I'm grinding a bit in the caves with the robots and bombs.;)

Sorry for the bad pun , but if I remember correctly , it should be about 4-6 times.

yeah i've died quite a few more time in FFXIII than I have in any other final fantasy game, except maybe the Elmdor fight in Final Fantasy Tactics :P 

I sort of appreciate it that they are making it harder rather than easy wins one after another.

You know, if you think you're close to dying in battle, you can press start and there should be an option that says "retry". When you choose that option, it'll take you back to the screen right before you fought that enemy/monster.

I die against those Adamantoise twice. I thought I could beat them the first time I reached that Steppe place.

I died once against Dahaka because of his Doom against my leader.

I died twice against Barthendelus II because of his Doom against my leader... and I still haven't beaten him. :evil:

Aw geez, this reminds me of the first time I beaten him (barthandelus II) It took maybe an hour of continuous pounding on him and when I final beat him, my game froze up :evil:

My game's been freezing and being stupid ever since :(

Hmm...

Died against Odin once. Barely got him the second time.

Died against Bulbasaur at the end of Ch 5 and rage quit against him the second.

Died against that big damn gunship at the end of Ch 7.

Died against Cid once due to the whole Leader KO = Game Over crap. He had less than 4,000 HP too! :x

Died against Alexander twice.

Died a lot against Adamantoise since I go up against one for fun, even though I die within 20 seconds. :P

Died against a Behemoth King twice.

I'm not all that great at the game, but hey, I don't feel like grindin' much, so I'll just roll with it.
