Revenge for firekeeper?

When is the best time to get revenge for the murder of the Fire keeper? Is the black eye orb usable more than once? Should I wait until I'm high level before using it? or do I have to be someplace before I'm able to use it? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated :-)

The black eye orb is a one time only item that you use in a specific place. I'll refrain from any further spoilers as the game will inform you of the time to use it.

well it doesn't really tell you. there's a slight hint in the description of the black eye orb. check there. and if you can manage yourself perfectly fine in the area where you can use that orb, then you're also ready for the revenge quest conclusion.

yeah now theres a bit of a pain though. statistically, you'll be fine for that fight. but you will have to bring the proper stuff to deal with that situation. so my choice is, to spoil it a tiny bit for you, but at least you'll go in prepared, or i cant say anything...

i'm just gonna mark it as a spoiler then.

you're gonna get ganked by 3 NPC's. so a big sword or magic is really advised. preferably magic, because they have the knack to parry you.

I myself...

Will go into the area, activate the orb...run forward and up the stairs to the side, shoot the caster and fight them on the thin stairs so it's 1 at a time...or just run in and pancake the guy and finish before his buddies can help him too much.
