whenver i play any videos on my mac, inlcuding gs ones, the grahics are fine but there is no sound whatsoever. none at all. whever it plays, it says the videos in a codec and he vidoe might not play propoerly. Any help? Thx
I've noticed the exact same problem since I uploaded my Halo music vid last night, now I can't hear anything on any videos. When it first happened I went through my profile page again and it worked after that, but now I don't get any sound at all.
You tell me (or someone else here), I can't even listen to songs from iTunes anymore, and I haven't changed anything to my sound settings (I already checked my volume and it's at max) and I have no clue how to change any sound settings otherwise.
Hold on, I might know why this is happening. Does your computer have a place that you can connect your headphones? If so, try plugging your headphones in and see if you can hear through them. If you can, them I'm guessing it's the speakers since I tried reconnecting my speakers and went through every single troubleshooting option for the sound and it still didn't work, but I can hear through my headphones.
Uh... I have the same problem... But my computer is not a Mac... It's a PC... But then the sound on the videos won't play... But then everything else plays, and its not the speakers problem because my songs or other non-gamespot related videos still plays the sound...
