HERE is a blog from a friend of mine to see the problem. There are trolls everywhere and we GS members like to feel safe.
This topic is locked from further discussion.
now that was a serious problem. feel sorry for your friend. as for the person doing the harassing, its easy to hide behind a screen. out in the internet, you can say what you want. if it was me personally, I would have gotten to the person before he got to me. I honestly find his comment very funny and amusing. poor guy. had nothing better to do than harass people. probably pretty lonely irl.
I concur. Such functionality should be a no-brainer in this day and age...
... especially given the relaxing of restrictions within the amended ToU, the added [and unwarranted, imho] social media integration and the fact that previously banned users appear to have had login privileges restored.

Yes, this is much needed, especially when they're going with that social network feel to user profiles (and the fact that most of your activities are posted automatically on the feed without any control). I thought it was added at first (under Settings > Link to Change Username/Password), but the link there just directs you to the site's privacy policy page.
An option to delete individual feed updates is also appreciated.
Privacy always seemed like a weak man's tool to me. Amusing. Somehow didn't expect this failure to go with all the others. Guess it's owed to my forgetting there are types who actually use that option (and blog).

As you say, it was implemented as an option.
And there's nothing weak about wishing to avoid either receiving abuse, or giving offense - the content of some blogs may require a more judicious readership, and the latter is often in short supply 'round these parts. :|
