Hey, I'm a new GameSpot user but I'm loving the website so far, but I have some questions, any help would be greatly appreciated!

1. When rating a game, is there any way to select which platform you played it on?

For example, I played Helldivers, Dying Light and Dead Space on PC and Dead Space 2 on Xbox 360, yet they all show different platforms. Helldivers rating for PS4 version, Dying Light for MAC etc, here's a reference image to exactly what I'm saying https://imgur.com/a/o7KuHF2 (I hope I'm allowed to post links).

I tried rating the games on the specific platform GameSpot reviews but they are all linked into one rating for users, and I tried finding games themselves and hoping there'd be a drop down menu for platform or something, but nothing. Is there any way I can do what I'm asking? Or do I just have to accept this is how it is? It triggers my OCD lol.

2. Is there any way to rearrange stacks easily? Or do I have to keep remaking/editing current stacks to get the order I want?

3. Is there any way to make your reviews and stacks private? I'm basically on GameSpot for my own personal ratings/rankings and lists as an easy reference when asked what I think about games etc, or to show my friends.

Thanks in advance! I hope this is the right place to ask these questions, I wasn't sure where exactly to post to get help.

1) Under the old website format you could rate games on different platforms. Take the first Gears of War, I had a copy of the PC version and I rated just the PC version. Same for Advent Rising - rated just the PC version.

When the site migrated to their new layout/format/code change (whatever you want to call it) they lost a lot (a lot) of functionality and options. One of them being the ability to simply rate a specific game to a specific platform.

2) I tried playing with stacks when the website changed years and years ago, but they were broken. From what I've heard, stacks still don't work correctly and I haven't been interested enough in the new web design to try again. If you have to keep remaking/editing stacks, my guess would be that they're still broken to some extent and probably will never work correctly or get fixed.

The old website layout I kept up with my list of "Games I Own". When the website change happened a lot of games on my list weren't ported over to my stack of "Games I Own" and other games were no longer showing up in Gamestop's database and even some others were just wrong. I tried fixing it, finding the right games and it became too much of a chore so I stopped trying to use the stacks.

3) No way to make things private that I'm aware of.

Proper functionality of this website has been broken since the change to the new layout and if fixes are in the works - they're slow to be made or made worse and then slow to be corrected, if at all.

@neatfeatguy: Thanks so much for all the info, I really appreciate it! That's sad to hear that the website has lost so much of it's features and polish, I hope they continue to work on it.

If it makes you feel any better (or worse), the website changed to it's current appearance you see now a good 7-8 years ago and nothing has really been fixed or added. Either they're really slow or have no real plans. Gamespot forums and website functionality feel like they've been suspended indefinitely.

@neatfeatguy: Sorry for the super late reply, that sucks to hear that in the "streamlining" of the website they removed so many needed features, and that it seems like they have abandoned full development on the website and that it'll stay basically the way it is. Thanks for your help.

There's one thing you need to do first as new user, off the auto video ply.
