I believe this is a styling bug. The scores are still present in the html source for the pages. For reference, this is on pages like this one. Styling can be crazy convoluted, but after doing some digging around, I think the problem might be due to this item from modules.min.css: #communityreviews_module .body .score_summary{ display:inline;float:right;height:95px;margin:0 -100px 0 10px;text-align:center;width:91px;} That -100px in the margin value is pushing the score off to the right where it can't be seen any more. I'm not sure what the desired effect was, but setting that instead to 0 or a small positive number brings the score back into view. That's all in Firefox, of course.

I really wish they'd get around to fixing this. It's quite irritating.

Bump and confirm, I get it too, using Firefox 3.5.5. I get it also with IE8 and Chrome.

I think bumping this thread is fair game - at least until a GameSpot staff member confirms that they know about the problem and are working on it.

Additional reports of a technical nature are somewhat useful, particularly about affected browsers and maybe even operating systems, but this issue is obviously going to affect a lot of users, so I strongly urge patience. I'll also point out that we don't know what priority an issue like this will receive, and while not every technical issue reported here in the forums is explicitly acknowledged by a staff post, they see pretty much everything that actually matters. Let's let everyone get back from the weekend and see where things go from there.

I hope this is fixed, player review scores for me are the only reviews worth checking out.

If you click on "continue" you can see what the player rated the game and then hit "backspace to take you back and continue scrolling down, it's a mild inconvenience, but you can still see what they reviewed it, you just have to go into their actual review to do so.

Can you clarify if this problem is happening in both IE and FF? I checked IE and it's not showing a score there either.

I have checked My Firefox, IE8, Apple Safari and it doesn't show up anywhere unless you look at the review fully

I ran one of these pages through browsershots, and browsers that are relatively current all look about the same - the scores don't show. I'm not a big IE user so I don't have IE8 handy. From browsershots, these pages in IE7 look about like they do in Firefox. IE6 is curious, because this issue seems to break the formatting of the entire page in that case - with one of the results being that you can see the scores! [ old screen shots removed ]
