As per the topic title, text input via certain text fields is illegible when using the dark theme - e.g. posting to a Wall - surely the site should use a font that switches colour according to the choice of theme?

The same is true of Recipient and Subject fields when composing Messages.

Doesn't seem to be an issue when using the WYSIWYG editor however (e.g. within Forums/Messages).

(OS: Kubuntu 12.04 - Browser: Firefox 22.0)

They broke this yesterday with an update to the software. I think it happened about the time they added the navigation links at the bottom of the thread.

Ahh, that's about the time when it started happening, eh? Yeah, makes sense. I hope they can do 're-update' to fix it, as it is quite illegible. It works, but you practically have lean closer to screen just to make sure what you're typing is showing up or at least that it makes sense, lol.

Yeah I noticed that last night too. I've already got it sent over, thanks for the report.

what font is used for these boards? my issues with crappy text in pop up tool tips and with the dark theme are related to the font, ive discovered. by unchecking "allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above" in firefox options, the text becomes clear, however, all the buttons become mucked up with unrecognized character symbols.

my guess is that the reason the text looks corrupt is that, either there is a problem when running the font for the page from it, or that the font that the boards use is not on this box, so it panics and tries to improvise. perhaps if i were to install the font proper it would be a cheap fix for my issue.

eh, its worth a try anyway. anyone able to name it? i dug through the console a little to no success. there were a few lines that i tinkered with in about:config "gfx....." no change. any other simple fix, with all this as a clue, would be welcome. it certainly seems simple enough. might as well try and make something better, yeah?
