Question about indie games.

Hello. I have a question...

I am a indie dev...(Sorta...Kinda..) I remember reading that one can NOT try to advertise stuff here.

I do not wish to advertise stuff, but I DO want feedback on my games. I want to know how I can improve them, etc.

In the future, I'd like to make a thread and give out free download codes for my games. I do NOT want any money, I am NOT trying to sell the games to anyone on here. I just want impressions and opinions. I just want people to play my game and tell what they think.

Is something like that ok to do?
