Ford: F: Failure O: Opposite of Cool. R: Ridiculous D: Disappointing

User Rating: 4 | Ford Mustang: The Legend Lives PS2
Anybody who has played decent racing games such as gran turismo, forza, or toca race driver, dor example, will know that ford mustang the legend lives is not all that it's worth. you get 40+ cars spanning the 40 years of one of america's most treasured automobiles, but thats not enough to help the laundry list of problems with this game:
-sloppy physics.
-terrible controls.
-extremely shallow career mode.
-almost no challenge whatsoever.
-ragged, outdated graphics.
-jittery frame rate.
-no way to customize your cars.
-irritating voice repeating whatever you click on the menus or in the races.
-having to sit through a track replay load and not being able to skip it until the race replay starts.
-no damage modelling.
-bizarre collision detections.
-hit or miss game music.
-unreliable performances.
-weak track selections.
-complex navigation.
-HUGE letdown.
-obviously rushed to make the 40th anniversary.
-the fact that this game exists.

the only good thing i have to say about this game is that its easy to learn and play, especially for those trying out driving games. overall, this game is a big disappointment and a complete mockery to the mustang legend. this game was obviously rushed to make the 40th anniversary, hence why all these problems exist. sorry to say, but this is one legend that has to be ignored.
