Hows the serenity, fluid and relaxing. Something to be experienced.
It pits you as a creature of the sea, you goal to eat as meny enamy creaters as you can. As you do so your own creature will blosm and grow into a spaticular specimen. As you progress through the level you dive deaper into the ocean (down tears) searching for food, the deaper you dive the larger the emamys become so make sure you eat as much as you can before you dive otherwise you will get eaten back and be trust up to the prevous tear. Once you reach the bottme of the ocean you have completed the level and are presented with a new creature to tackle the next level with.
In total there are aproximatly 6 level (creatures).
GAMEPLAY - 7/10
The game play is by no means revoulatonary. It is simplistic and easy to understand, eat or be eaten. However controling your flow creature is done exclusivly with the sixaxis mostion sensitive. It iis the best implentation of the motion ctrol to date. It alows intuative control of you creature with no learning curve. all in all money well spent
GRAPHICS - 8/10
The graphics while simple are breathtaking. They are runders in clean chrisp HD, and look oa treat. As your creature grows you view blasts of colour as you grow new parts. You can also see the creatures that lurk below, giving you some indication of what you will be up against. As I said before while the graphics are simple they are supurbe and fit well with the game. It just go to show how greaphcs can look spectacular without going over the top.
SOUND - 10/10
The mood setting sound track for fl0w is music to the ear. Its soothing tunes will comfort and relax you. The audio set the tone for the whole game and trasports you to an underwater paradise. It comprise of light stringed intstruments delivering a smooth melow tone.
VALUE - 7/10
As a download a price point of AUD13.45 is resonably. You dont get a wide varity of game play for your money but it, price is well worth the experience. You will get your AUD13.45 out of the game in the first few sitting and you will often revisit it when you get tired of everything else.
Overview - 8/10
Overall its a well produced title. The gameplay mechanics work a treat and its a visual and audio masterpice. Its only downfall is the lack of varity in the game play. But considering its under $15 its a great addition to your collection.
