Wow, a must have for Final Fantasy games.

The first thing that got me was the video at the beginning of the game after you select New Game. Astonishing graphics, great sound, and very long, but well worth watching. They start you off in the game teaching you the basics to get you used to the new system of fighting, quite nice. Some stuff happens that I will not say in sake of people not having the game yet. Then after all that, 2 years pass, and 17 year old Vaan is being mischievous, so you can tell he wont be dull. The voice overs for characters are great as well(except Vaan IMO). After a few non-CG cutscenes you are set out to fight, and still getting used to the fighting style, you will also notice you get other points other than experiance, those are liscenceing points, yea this is a pain, even more confusing than FFX's sphere grid, and to make it worse, not only you have to learn how to use the ability, you also must buy the ability. Learning the ability only gives you a "liscense" to use it, so you must go out and buy it to use it. Learning how to do the lisceneing grid is the most complicated part of the game, but it calls for a sense of stratigy and gives you many options. The thing that amazed me the most was the number of quests, you have so many options to do(of course you want to follow the story line) You can only have up to 3 party, and you get "guests" so you have 3 you can control and one wild card that can get you into trouble but can help you out a lot. The enemies are easy and compare them to the bosses, the bosses seem almost impossible, but with good strategy you can pull through with ease. When you play it, if you have played FFXI online, the world feels like the FFXI world such that how you fight, no overview world map, closed areas, and respawning monsters. This game is a great game that everyone should at least try out, a great feel to the Final Fantasy universe.
