Final Fantasy VI is one of the best Final Fantasy games ever to say the least. All aspects of this game are every RPG fans wish - a deep and spectacular story, a great cast characters who will have a place in your heart, beautifully rendered locations and a great orchestratic soundtrack. Not to mention a villain who can turn the tide with Sephiroth.

Now let's break these up one by one.

1. Story

The story was very nice and a complete deviation to the common formula of medieval this and that. The story is also filled with a lot of emotion - from sorrow to joy to love and all. Some scenes were brilliant as far like the Opera scene, the destruction of the world and even the scene where Locke plans to

2. Characters

Final Fantasy VI's characters are also quite memorable each for having a nice development in the storyline with the exception of the "hidden ones".

Equal in character development in the sense that like there was no main characters. Everyone had their fair share really. Each character was also unique - a hybrid between esper and human, a perverted king, a treasure hunter hoping to bring back to life his loved one, a genetically mutated knight, a liberal monk, a moogle who carries spears despite its size, a tough talking 10 year old painter, an assassin wiling to slit his mom's neck for a nickel, a vibrant blue mage, an archaic samurai, a beast boy and a great number of supporting cast like General Leo, Gestahl and the like.

Though Final Fantasy VI is nothing without the diabolic Kefka - who deviates from the overused villain plot. He acts without though and is a classical joker of Final Fantasy. Also, being remembered for those on liners which are now being quotable till today.

3. Graphics

Stunning as a GBA game. The WoB was such a beautiful place that anyone would love to explore it. WoR was intelligently designed depicting a torn up world

4. Sound

One word: epic. Nobou Uematsu really outdid himself by creating on of the best soundtracks for any game. Ranging from the fast-pacing battle themes to the opera song.

Damn as a closing note. This game is just INCREDIBLE.
