Quite possibly the best RPG of all time.

There's very little I can say about Final Fantasy IX without going into a whole long, dramatic rave about how amazing it is. Honestly, if you haven't played this game you are not a true fan of RPGs. Of the big three on PS1, it's probably the best-- Final Fantasy VII and VIII are both magnificent, but neither has suited my fancy so constantly like FFIX has. You can go back and play through it again on a whim without ever getting bored. It's satire will make you giggle and it's seriousness will glue you to the screen. The story is incredibly superb, and the visuals (despite the slightly fugly character design) will take your breath away (well, if it was the year 1999 at least.) I don't care who you are, you must play FFIX. I'd say your life depended on it if it would compel you more. 10/10
