great game from square enix that proves that FF series still got it.
Story: FFIII is about four orphans who were chosen by four crystal to balance two powers, light and darkness. Personally, i didn't like the story, it was so predictable and it wasn't even surprising, even from the cut-scenes. you would know what's gonna happen next.
i'll rate the story : 6.5 = acceptable.
Characters: There are only four main characters in the story, and the fifth one joins your party as a guest. I think the characters' script is kinda predictable,too just like the story above and that's what made the story is kinda sucky for me. You'll get to meet other characters as you progress in the storyline, some who joins you as a guest, you can't control him/her but you get help during battles but not so often.
Characters: 7.0 = good.
Gameplay: The gameplay is what made play this game for 43 hours. i really liked it so much. it reminded of FFVIII. The gameplay is a turned-base RPG system, some call it old-school for final fantasy fans. The gameplay is pretty much solid. There are even jobs you can get them "again" as you progress in the game. There are almost 20 jobs "i think, didn't count them". And they're all well-known for FF fans who played other series. You can do a lot with the jobs, Leveling them up needs a hard work. They have their own EXP and Lv. other than the character's Lv itself. so you won't be disappointed with the gameplay.
Gameplay: 9.0= Awesome
Graphics: The graphics are good but not that great. and for a DS system it's cool. i have nothing to write about the graphics but they're nice.
Graphics: 8.0= great.
Overall: 8.5, i recommend this game. for every RPG fan and especially who are crazy about Final Fantasy series "like me ^_^" i hope i did great with this review.
