Do your research, people!

I've seen user reviews of this game that gave it a poor rating, but no wonder. These people probably found out there was a new Final Fantasy game and just went ahead and bought it without looking into what it's about. If you get this game expecting another epic Final Fantasy RPG, um, you know, where you fight battles and stuff, yeah you'll waste your money. But if you actually do your research on the game, ignoring the bad reviews from people who essentially bought the game blind so to speak, you can decide whether you want to play this type of game or not. I give it a good review because for the type of game IT IS, it's fun, which is an understatement. The idea of walking through a town you basically create yourself and view tons of interesting information, like how family members are getting along with each other and who their friends are, I think is very fun. There are limitations on exactly where you can build, because the city streets and the spots where you can actually build the buildings are in fixed locations, but what you put there is all up to you. There are some annoyances, like sometimes adventurers you send out to do something will come back early, like they're too scared to fight or something, but on the overall, that's not too big of a deal. Yeah, you can't fight their battles for them, but it's stupid to get this game expecting to be able to. Just because it says Final Fantasy, doesn't mean you get to fight battles. But if you do enough research on the game and know what you're about to buy, you can decide if you'd like that type of game or not.
