The Fifa series on the Wii has been surprisingly good but the newest game Fifa12 is still not perfect.

Fifa on the Wii started as a fun arcade styled soccer game but since last year it has lost some of its arcadeness and tried to become a serious soccer game introducing new game modes such as be a pro and street soccer. I did play fifa 11 on the Wii last year and when i played Fifa 12 a few days ago i realized the game-play is exactly the same.

Fifa 12 has had a few improvements though especially in manager mode. In manager mode there is a better transfer window, better team control and team upgrades.

There is also a new menu screen when you enter the game, instead of having a plain layout of all the modes you instead have to create your own city and club.

Fifa 12 is more rewarding then ever with achievements to unlock and if you unlock an achievement or win a game you will get money for your city to unlock new players and to compete in a cup called the INTERCITY CUP. It is a nice addition to have your own team but personally they didnt do enough to make it fun to have your own team.

The fifa 12 controls can be annoying at times but are usually okay to use, there are different control types including classic controller, Wii remote and nunchuk and Wii remote by itself. The controls didn't respond 100% and there were also a few glitches in the game, but nothing major

If you didn't buy Fifa 11 last year and you are thinking of buying this on the Wii I would buy it when it becomes a touch cheaper but if you already own Fifa 11 don't bother getting this because it will end up being a waste of money
