Fifa 09, fifa 10, this is like fifa 13 at least
At first when I heard about 'Career Mode' I was annoyed as I loved Manager Mode. I was thrilled with the Career Mode this season, it even got me to enjoy playing as a player, instead of manager all the time.
But, unfortunately the head to head ranked matches this year prevented a all round 10. Two problems: Lag and community. Every so often in a ranked match there was a 2-4 second freeze in play. I ignored it but the community was un-ignorable. Firstly you pretty much always play against Man Utd, Chelsea, Barcelona or Real Madrid with the odd Arsenal. This got frustrating and felt very unrealistic. But the most annoying thing was when your opponent quit before the end. Although it records in a win, you don't get any points and it doesn't actually count as a game played. This is the reason why it's very rare for me to play head to head now.
Now another good thing, probably the best: Pro Clubs. It's SO enjoyable and realistic. With your team constantly trying to win a cup or league. Although there was a lag which sped up your pro for about 5 seconds (in which made it unplayable) and again, teams quitting, it was still great fun.
So better graphics, gameplay, and features. Fifa 11 is a complete package. How will Fifa 12 compare?
