Somehow Fifa 11 is even better than Fifa 10
I really don't know much too say why Fifa 11 is such a good footy, you could read my review of Fifa 10. But everything has improve just that bit to make Fifa 11 a righteous purchase above Fifa 10, even only for the new teams.
So, as I've said, not really much difference, except for the personality plus system. Key players get "bigger" abilities in the form of free kick specialist, more power or a higher finishing skill.
Apart from that, there is also the new career mode, which provides the best of the be a pro mode, and the manager mode. Choose if you want to be a player, player/manager or manager, and start your own career. A great mode in my opinion! For example, I started my career with my own pro at (with all respect) a low rated club named Port Vale, which plays in the English 4th division. After I promoted Port Vale to the Championship division, I got offers from top clubs like Inter, Bayern Munchen etc. I chose to play at Inter, and that brings a huge difference in gameplay. While with Port Vale it was slow-paced and sluggish passing, playing at Internazionale was a whole different experience, with faster gameplay and much better teamplay.
Career mode also has it's flaws. It's not realistic, it would have been great if players had more personality in it's choices (like a liverpool player should not move to Man utd)
The gameplay itself has improved just a little. Passes vary a bit more, It's harder to score a goal, and the goalkeepers have improved... a bit.
A nice option is to upload crowd chants to your favourite team. Example. When Liverpool enters the pitch, you could here the crowd sing "you'll never walk alone".
Online play still rocks, especially the be a pro 11 vs 11. If you have some serious gamers in your squad (and the opponents' squad) you can play a real thriller of a game.
Unfortunately, lag occurs from time to time, but nowhere near as much as Fifa's rival, Pro Evo.
Even after all those months, Fifa 11 is still rocking my xbox, and I guess this will not change until... Fifa 12!
