FIFA 08 is a good soccer sim to play, but not that great as expected.
Many of the previous years' features are still here, while new ones are introduced lately. But these new fetures are either not so important, or they are not introduces well.
This year, FIFA familiarizes us with two new: the first, is pulling the goalie. While it can be helpful at times, it is difficult sometimes, and because of that feature, leaving the GK to AI will result to a goal against you.
The second one, is the Be-a-Pro mode. You can select or create a player to be, and start a dissapointing journey till the end of the season. Luckily, you can be joint be three of your friends.
There are also new things to do in manager mode. Tougher than ever, it obligates you to play four friendlies before the start of the season, and it also gives the opportunity to have a look from the training grounds.
The graphics of the game are awful with many bugs destroying the game. But I hope there are patches able to fix these problems.
FIFA 08 is a game considered one of the worst since the series began in 1995, but it is still a game worth a try.
