New installment of the series, but is it worth it?

Firstly ill start with the graphics. There's not much difference at all since Fifa 07, The stadiums look exactly the same but the pitches and general look of the players look a bit sharper. I'm surprised that their isn't an anti aliasing setting in the game, its just your standard High, Medium, Low Settings seen previously in the series. The interface looks good but the menu's seemed to be jerky when loading and navigating through, not sure if this is a Windows Vista problem or something in the game. The motion is a lot more fluid than last year and plays smoother. There's a strange visual effect that EA have added this year with replays and pre-game animations. I'm not sure if this works well or not as it seems a pointless blur effect.
The difficulty this year is a lot harder than the previous games. Theres a Keeper difficulty setting in the options as well as the typical game difficulty setting. After playing last years Fifa and getting to the premiership with Rochdale it was good to see the game being more difficult.
The sound in the game is good, there seems to be a lot less repetitive comentry and the additional crowd chants etc sound good.
Overall I just get the impression that its another Fifa game. Nothing special about it and not really a lot of updates since last years game. I think the biggest disappointment is the graphics as it looks pretty dated, even on all settings maxed out and maximum resolution it just doesn't look like a new game.
Defiantly worth a purchase if your a big football fan but if your a bit iffy about it being similar to last years then id wait a couple of months until the price drops.
