A total disappointment and a miserable 11th addition to the EA management franchise. Don't waste your money or time.
I was horrified to find it is more or less a revamped version of Fifa manager 10 . The only differences are that you can skip ahead all of the matches you don't want to manage by choosing this feature in the calender, and there is a new position level system which we last saw in Total Club Manager 05 which has been implemented here.
Such as AM=80 (attacking midfield) DM=70 (defensive midfield)
etc, etc. Example Frank Lampard AM80, CM80, DM70,ST80.
The Graphics engine is the same old lousy one as in Fifa Manager 10.
Firstly I don't understand making a game of around more than 6 Gb and it is rubbish. Instead game developers should strive to make more smaller and compact games limited to at least 700mb or max 1Gb.
And not to mention the frequent game crashes... Yup it crashes the same as with the Fifa manager 10.
And the worst part is yet to come. It is the absolutely bogus transfer system. You'll be yanking out your hair trying to figure it out, and also signing any youth players in your club requires them asking their parents first before the sign on to your club. If the deal flops, you'll have to wait some weeks before they talk to you again.
Also you will have a hard time selling existing players in your club as the other clubs do not have a transfer budget to buy your
player. There is a useless agent feature to help sell your players at a fee, that is if he can find a club to buy your player.
In retrospect if you are a football manager fan go for Fifa manager 06. It has a decent graphics engine and it is just under a 1.7 Gb space on your hard drive. Fifa Manager 06 is the best I have ever seen for its size and its graphics engine and flawless audio commentary. Just make sure it is patched to the latest version before you start to play it. Trust me, buying Fifa manager 06 is great value for you money - you won't regret it!
