This is by far the worst FIFA game I have played. It simply does not feel like I can control the game. I have played on Legendary or Ultimate since FIFA 12, so am not a teribble player, but his game simply feels like you have little control. The passing is shocking, there are constant defensive positional errors, dribbling feels like an absolute chore and the referees, well lets just say its as if they have been payed to give every possible decision against you and give you virtually nothing in return. I have been hacked down in and around the box several times and it is definitely a foul, except if your a referee on FIFA 16 who will probably give the OTHER TEAM a free kick. Players seem to have to take an extra touch before doing anything. More often than not, when I go to shoot first time or play a one two, the player always has to take that extra touch. Players also seem to run past the ball for no apparent reason when is pass to them. Also the AI is shocking. Like i said, the defensive AI for the User team constantly makes positional errors that a schoolboy wouldn't make, while when playing on World Class+, the CPU defense is too solid and simply makes the game difficult to enjoy and becomes very frustrating to play. Then there's the attacking AI for the user. This is so shit, it is unbelievable. User AI attackers are so static, its ridiculous. There is a button to press to get the AI to move but this just seems like a completely useless feature and makes playing god football very difficult and, when coupled with the virtually impenetrable defense and really shit referees makes scoring goals extremely difficult and very frustrating.
While some of the new features are good, such as no touch dribbling and the driven ground pass, I would not recommend buying this FIFA, especially if you have a short temper like me. I have had to buy at least 5 new remotes and a new game disk because of the frustration this game causes me and very much regret buying this game. EA have plenty of things to fix for FIFA 17, so it better be much better than FIFA 16, because this is simply put the worst FIFA they have released to date.
