Good game, but it tries to mimick W11 gameplay and loses the fifa style action gameplay in the process.
There's hardly enough space to move around with the ball let alone keep the ball for more then 2 secs. I find the gameplay to be frantic. it seems like watching a bunch people that have never played soccer in their lives kick the ball around.
As for the graphics, the uniforms aren't that precise and seem different that than the offcial ones. Take for exampe AC milan's jersey. There's bunch of patterns that don't exist on the real jersey. As for the detail on the jerseys, you can only see the front and the back of the jersey and the sleeves are blurred. it seems that at times the ball is either blue, yellow or white.
I am a big fan of the fifa series and I have bought all the fifas from 97 to 2006. However, I think that the series lost its core gameply style this time around. Cuddos for the people who love winning eleven, now they get the exact same thing from fifa 2006 (W11 for the same style of gameplay is better).
Lets just hope that there isn't a trick to score unstopable penalties (like in Fifa 2005) in this series because that would really hurt the online play given that there isn't an option to tie.
What a shame EA....
