Good game...bad sequal
The good: With a small improvement of graphics, and resolution, multiplayer is now enhanced....allowing you to actually spot the predator through the trees....intead of the trees "twinkilng" at you, and you firing away giving away your position.
They also finally fixed the "halo" bug...instead of getting killed intantly by touching the "hummer of death" you now will only take moderate damage if they hit you square on.
They finally have improved the sound, every weapon now sounds more unique, and qith surround saound....when you are firing over your buddies shoulder, and the whine of gun fire is blasting out of your speakers....its worth it.
Now steering is more realistic and less "jerky" instead of your vehicle simply veering around it now actualy turns....and while swimming if you stop, you sorta tread water...instead of being stuck in "limo" beneath the waves.
The predator can now climb, run faster, jump higher, and hit harder than EVER before.
The bad: Well.,...they just HAD to keep the aim bugs....the MP5 for example...ALWAYS shoot to the upper half of your circular aimer....I found myself firing over enemies shoulders rather than hitting them...the P-90 still shoots off to one side.....
Climbing with the predator is.....not that great...and doesnt look great either
They added two new skins for multi-player....two modern pirates...who look weak....lame...and pathetic......nothing says "come kill me" more than a skinny badly dressed pirate.
The new vehicle are lame....and WOW two trucks...who wudda guessed just how fun that is.....ive got a civilian chevy.....just not very exciting....and about the only really good weapon they added was the blow gun.
The UGLY: THERE ARE ONLY A FEW MULTIPLAYER MAPS!!! and only ONE is meant for predator mode!!!!
this game is what the FIRST game SHOULD have been....all the useful improvements were simply things that should have been there in the first place, and they should have either kept all the other maps and just added the new ones......cuz that was a disappointment..
