Sophomoric...plain and simple!

I saw this game on sale at Target for $20. I was intrigued due to the fact that this is a highly popular title and had plenty of great reviews...unfortunately, I found out why.

The game is obviously for the teenager/20 something audience...I am not in that demographic

The game lacks any sort of tutorial that allows for error. Your first mission is to escape from a makeshift jail guarded by island pirates. The command buttons for actions only show up after you keep getting killed...the game gets reloaded and then you waste another 5 minutes attempting to escape trying to learn the next button or stick command...repeat, repeat, repeat

As far as anything else, I can get past the violence aspect...but seriously, do we really need to have drug use and repeated foul language in games these days? If this is what people want in games, then it really is no surprise why the United States is in the free fall that it is. Trust me, I'm no religious nut cake or conservative demagogue, but this was honestly one of the most infantile games I've played in a long time.

I guess the best part of the story is that I only wasted a $20 on an overpriced game...at least I can trade it in.
