I know I am in a minority here when I can that this game wasn't all it was cracked up to be. At least I didn't think so. First off, I'll start off with Jason's voice in the game-Really? here you are on a desert island fighting pirates, komodo dragons, tigers, bears and the like, and Jason sounded like he hadn't hit puberty yet. Second, when I game, I like to play in stealth, taking out as many thugs as I can. In Farcry 3, yes there is stealth, but you have to move inch by inch at times, it seemed to me, b/c the pirates would try and ambush you, and trust me, you don't want that(In Farcry 2 you could get to a safe house, and change from day to night). Chargers can, well, charge at you, and throw molotiv coctails at you, and if you don't put the fire out in time(if they hit you with them), you'll die. Third, the save system-if you save in the game(you can only manually save when your not on an assigned mission), and you die, you respawn as close as possible to your mission point, but sometimes, that isn't as close as you want it to be, so you may have to deal with all that you may have dealt with before you died;tigers, komodo dragons, alligators, etc. Fourth, the role playing-this isn't skyrim, leave the role playing to the role playing games, and leave the shooters to the shooters. All in all, this game is a meh game, I found farcry 2 to be much more enjoyable, and I have been playing that recently. Let's hope farcry 4 is awesome which I am sure it will be, from what I have seen of the footage. There's my review.
