F1 2010 is deffinantly on the top step of the christmas list podium.

Funnily enough, to me racing games are all or nothing. From the arcadeish, fun and fluent style of PGR to the serious and strategic simulator of Forza 3, to me F1 2010 is in a completely different league. Being as it may, F1 2010 is clearly for a certain audience, and you don't have to be a rocket scientist to realise which audience that may be. But for those who look at the game and just play it for the sake of fun, then you will get a kick out of it aswell.

Where to start? Well the visuals are incredibly crisp and clean. The sun setting in Abu Dhabi to the rain pouring in Monza makes you want to do more and more laps.

As a racing enthusiast myself this game is just pure heaven, it nails everything on the head with a 100 pound sledge hammer. The sounds, the sensation, the satisfaction of making it into the next qualifying session or beating your team mate.

There are some things though, for the novice or beginner, it is quite daunting and intimidating to sit there in pit lane and not know where to go next, you will be forgiven if you say to yourself "what do I do now?" But rest assured that you can change your settings to suit your driving style.

All in all though, F1 2010 is a game I want to see on the top step of the podium.
