Better than most futuristic racers out there.

F-Zero X is a good game to add into your collection, and it'll hold your interest for a long time. With the variety of the grand prix tracks and the many different ships you can unlock, and the deathrace mode, it has pretty good replay value.

F-Zero's graphics are clean, clear and shiny....until you get on to the track.
After that, the cars are the same, just without the shiny textures, hence the other 29 ships that are on the track with you. Speaking of tracks, the game has a good variety of tracks to race on, from high jumps to hairpin turns, even through half-pipes, and cylinders.

F-Zero's music is good, and goes along just nicely with the game. Some songs are upgraded verisons of classic F-Zero, but they're still good to listen to.

Time Trial and Vs. Mode are included in F-Zero-X, and a Deathrace mode.
Deathrace mode is more like a chore than a race because the track is just loop and the road is too wide. Ships just can't simply shoved off so easily either.

The difficulty is just right for a futuristic racing game, until you crank it up to expert, which is almost impossible to even come in the top five, which becomes real annyoying when racing on even the easiest of tracks.

Aside from the little problems, this futuristic racing game is a good one to own.
