Gameplay: F-Zero controls get tighter every game, and it just seems to keep getting better and better. This, by far, is the best. The AI has been improved greatly since the last F-Zero's. However, the game IS difficult. Don't get your hopes up when you beat the first cup easily on novice, getting first place in everything. Anyway, the gameplay is nice, but not absolutely perfect. Graphics: Sorry, I see absolutely nothing bad at all. I don't know how they did it. Framerate never slows down, textures are surprisingly good, the FMV movies are incredibly crisp, the lightning from your boost still amazes me, and the backgrounds and tracks are simply stunning. Sound: Nothing wrong here, either. I still can't get over how much I love the music. Somehow they combined fast-paced trancish electric guitar with some old school themes. It's impossible to describe, but I love it. The sound effects are really well done, also, expecially when you heard somebody boost behind you. It sounds awesome... until you find out you shouldn't pay attention to how awesome it is when your rival suddenly speeds right past you. Value: Like I said before, it IS a hard game after the Novice rounds. Practice the tracks plenty, and know how to gain speed on every turn. Drift Turning is a must-know for the later tracks. What really blew me away is how many options there are on the main menu. There's just so much of everything. In fact, I'm gonna go back and play it some more, because I haven't even gone through everything on the main menu.
