Just finished it for the second time ...........and still loved it!
The first thing you need to know is that this is a really really scary game ...........not for the sensitive or sqeemish
The second thing is that the guns in this game rock, when you use them YOU FEEL THE POWER THEY BRING and the DAMAGE thats being caused by them. It is one of the BIG highlights of the game ..............and you play ..........they only get better!
There are 3 different types of grenades and you interchange between them by pressing the UP direction on the D-Pad of the xbox 360 controller ............I don't know why, but the first time I played through this game I didn't work this out and just used whatever was selected and probably missed out on using the grenades (which are great by the way) as a strategic combat option.
The A.I in this game is really smart and it WILL creep you out. The atmosphere is flawless ...........you won't dare play this on your own night with the lights off ...............
The storyline is also really interesting and will drive you to keep playing as you search for answers
A bit tip that will help you (if you are about to either play or buy this game) is LOOK around, there are SLOW-MO extensions and permanent life boosts everywhere .........and they are not hard to find as long as you take the time to look around the areas you progress through. These will make a massive difference in the later intervals of the game.
All I can say now is I can't wait to play FEAR 2 .............the weapons looking even more damaging and it looks like they have added some real doosies.
