Surprisingly addictive and fun! A very pleasant surprise.
Forget the super pixelated graphics, CD quality music, animation or video film, is more, forget about a complicated story or an epic reason to compete. This is pure action, fun and extreme stunts. Even so the game's graphics are very good, maybe the music is laughable at first, but after realizing the frantic and funny style of the game, it fits really well with the subject matter raised.
The fact that animal-themed robots (which are transformed in cars) competing in high-speed racing on extreme tracks located on real locations, it is a very ambitious and crazy idea.
But what makes this a highly addictive game is to accumulate points during the race to get a score at the end and this is achieved by performing extreme stunts, completing small mini-games during the race, such as soccer, bowling, destroying your opponents walk on two legs (turned into a robot), and many more.
Not to mention the excellent gameplay, and responsive than the control is (Wiimote horizontally and Wii Wheel), I've only played with the Wiimote, and I can say with certainty, which is the best Wii game that uses this method.
The sensation of speed is impressive, as all good racing game. And although it is very important, being first is not vital.
The difficulty level is excellent, very challenging but rewarding to complete the tests (great for those of us old school players), the multiplayer mode is limited to two but it's fun to compete against a local opponent, there are a lot of mini games (outside the main race) and quite funny as soccer, baseball, fly, spinning bar, and many more.-
A large number of objects to unlock, as well as many new characters (robots), other circuits and cups, trophies, special items. Has online mode for up to 6 players, and much, much more.-
This game reminded me of the old and golden days of video games, where only cared about the quality, level of difficulty, and fun, which is the main thing in any game, the rest is just an addition, and this game has it. Not much, but not needed.
