I'm not a big fan of racing but heck this game is good....
Well enough of ME, now down to the game. Evolution GT as it is promptly named is quite an enjoyable racing game. I spend quite some time playing it. Although i have games like Rise of Legends, Hitman BM, Rome total war Alexander.... and so on and so forth, I just couldn't stop playing. Well it is quite addictive... : ) Not because of the superb graphics or somewat realistic physics. It all becoz of the game play.
The game play of this game is so smooth, i need not wait so long for a race to start ( i give it less then 5 sec... roughly). Also the game doesnt so much lagg even running using an old P4 1.7Ghz com. The game also allows u to assign the keys u want. So it will be easy on ur fingers...( IF u noe how to set them properly). Well The controls of this game is very responsive.
Graphic in this game is very good. The enviroment reflection of the car surface is very real. All the effects ( Tiger effect & cunning) is very nicely done. What i am really drooling over is the game has license of all the new hot cars found around the world, including the new Mercedes Sport car, etc( I'm not to sure wif names of cars so forgive me -- : p ). The team at Black Bean really made the car so real that i thought i actually own it. What strikes out in this game are the enviroments. Although there are many tracks for all around the world, the enviroment are jsut blllaaaaaa. Nothing much to look at. Also i cam dissappointed in the crowd. Although i am driving pretty fast, but as i pass by them, they just look like card board people.
The Physics in this game is really somthing to be pround of. In many games like Need for speed, etc. They dont break or crack when they hit each other or the wall. In this game cars more or less break and strain under pressure. I like seeing a broken bumber bounce up and down,it just looks so nice.
Sound in his game is fairly decent, the sound effects of each car sound different, but correct? I dont know( I never driven a ny of thiese cars in real life) As u change view of the car the sound changes, so thats quite nice. Music on the other hand isnt really good. They just have boring tunes to show. Nothing gd....
In terms of innovation, I like the Tiger effect, It is the ability to turn back time. Just like in Prince of Persia. This is a very surpirze function in this game so i was really delighted. Then there is the Cunning Effect. It somehhow speeds up the car while drafting or somthing. Also i like the intimidation idea. It really makes sense. I watch F1 most of the time. So i know how drivers have to keep cool under presure. Be it someone chasing after u or catching up to someone. The game really shows how these real life thing are put in the game. When u are under pressure, Ur confidence gauge will reduce, how fast it drops to zero depends on ur avatar. If i t goes to zero, ur vission will get blurred. THis in real life is exajerated, but nevertheless it works.
The game offers many basic things available in a racing game. Career mode, Multiplayer, Challenge mode... Nothing new. The game allow to customise ur won driver which is nothing much new. Ur able to change his gear and thats it... nothing else. This is disapointing, couse i really want to change how he looks. (hehehe i am a big RPG fan)
Overall this game is good and well made. Good grahics/physics, Great cars, Ok sound, etc. This game appeals to many people that are not really in to cars but like racing.

there are a little lag but still playable.

No lag just prefect.
